In an earlier incident, a woman in her 30s was taken to Redcliffe Hospital after the e-scooter she was riding collided with a car at Lawnton about 8.20pm.
E-scooter use has boomed in Brisbane since operator Lime first arrived in the city in 2018, initially putting its scooters out without approval from council or the state government, although it later got permission to do so.
Lime has now left the city, but operators Neuron and Beam now run about 1000 e-scooters each across the city, as well as a few hundred e-bikes.
Neuron announced this year it was using Brisbane as a testbed for its new suite of safety technology.
The state government is reviewing the safety of the rideshare mobility devices following dozens of incidents and the growing use of private e-scooters in addition to rideshare devices.
