Authorities have issued a bushfire emergency warning at 6.07pm for people in Wooroloo and Chidlow in the Shire of Mundaring.
People in an area bounded by Government Road, Old Northam Road, Lilydale Road and Needham Road including people in Warrigal Estate and Jason Street are in danger and need to act immediately to survive. There is a threat to lives and homes.
Homes in Jason Street are under threat by fire now.
The fire started near the intersection of Old Northam Road and Government Road in Beechina.
