Cameron Smith held off the challenge of world No.1 Jon Rahm to win the Tournament of Champions in Hawaii.
The Australian beat his Spanish rival by one stroke at the Plantation Course at Kapalua Golf Club on Monday (AEDT), finishing on 34 under for the tournament. Fellow Australian Matt Jones was a further stroke back in third after shooting a final round of 12 under.

Both Smith and Rahm started the final day on 26-under par, a five-stroke cushion over Daniel Berger, who fell away to finish in a tie for fifth.
Cameron Davis and Marc Leishman finished in a tie for 10th on 23 under to round out a strong showing from the PGA Tour’s Australian contingent.
