As Omar Elomar farewelled a visitor on the driveway of his palatial Condell Park home on Sunday night, an SUV pulled up.
Mr Elomar, 39, stood talking to the visitor as four men wearing black balaclavas and hoods leapt from the car while it idled in front of the driveway, dramatic CCTV obtained by the Herald shows.
As the four men attacked Mr Elomar and dragged him to the large white four-wheel-drive, a fifth man armed with a gun appeared and pointed it at the visitor.
Mr Elomar was thrown into the back seat of the car, which drove off.
Two days later, Mr Elomar arrived at Bankstown Hospital with a black eye and bruised ribs.
He spoke to detectives at the hospital but he then left and has refused to speak to them a second time.
