Two people have died and two others are in critical condition following three separate violent incidents in Melbourne overnight.
Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a teenager in Coburg North in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Victoria Police say the boy was assaulted with an edged weapon on Elizabeth Street about 2.30am. First responders rushed to provide first aid, but could not save the teenager, who died at the scene.
About an hour after the incident, emergency services were called to Bourke Street in Docklands following reports of a brawl between a group of men.
Officers found two men with stab wounds at the scene, who were rushed to hospital for treatment. One died from his injuries shortly after, while the other remains in critical condition in hospital.
Earlier in the night, police also responded to a fight between a group of males at Flinders Street Station which left a man fighting for his life in hospital.
After searching the area, officers arrested three teenagers from Werribee aged 14, 18 and 19, who are currently assisting officers with their investigation.
“Police established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident,” a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
The three incidents are not believed to be related.
