“WA Cricket is in shock to hear of Ryan’s medical emergency after suffering a major heart attack over the long weekend,” WA Cricket CEO Christina Matthews said.

“We know he is in the best care, and hope he pulls through and is able to make a full and speedy recovery.”
Not only was Campbell prolific with the gloves, taking 267 catches and executing 15 stumpings at first-class level, as well as 139 and 11 in his List A career, but he was also adept with the bat.
Campbell hit 6009 first-class runs at 36.41, including 11 centuries and 37 fifties, and 2286 runs at List A level at 23.56, including a ton and 10 half-centuries.
